Malaysian goldsmith Crystal is a rising talent in Hong Kong’s goldsmithing industry. Intrigued by the art of making since young, Crystal first approached goldsmithing with design and appreciation of contemporary art in Hong Kong. She was then trained at the renowned School of Jewellery of Birmingham City University, with traditional goldsmithing skills and the incorporation of technology in the jewelry industry. She was awarded with the Weston Beamor Prize for Good Use of CAD, Rapid Prototyping and Casting, and her pieces have been exhibited in Gaffa Gallery, Australia.

What started off as a curious interest, has developed into Crystal’s career. Her passion in making drives her to continue to hone her skills in goldsmithing until today by training across the globe. Currently, she oversees the atelier of Sunsmith and is an enthusiastic workshop instructor sharing her know-how with the public.
