Prior to serving as a design teacher, Clive Ng worked as a digital designer, mostly on web design and development for 20 years. His first exhibition was about the frame-cropping of neon signs. It featured neon signs and was designed to disengage it from its semiotic meaning, allowing viewers to reflect primarily on the aesthetics of the color and form. He enjoys studying cultural arts, especially those that are tied to the local context. He also likes to observe people’s reactions and dialogs about how they perceive the arts.
