Graduated from the Product Design Programme of Hong Kong School of Design in 2014, Chow Man has been working in the product and interior design sector. Upon completing her diploma in interior design, she founded “dou6/geoi6/so2”, studying the techniques of woodworking and creating objects for daily use. She is currently a product designer and spends her leisure time creating at the studio.

Chow Man has been deeply inspired by the style of Shaker Furniture, motivating her pursuit of a Shaker maxim “beauty rests in utility”. Shaker furniture focuses on clean lines and simplicity. For Chow Man, craftsmanship is an expression of humanity, reflecting our awareness of aesthetics—a process to create works imprinted by one’s personal experience and emotions and displaying features of the materials.
