Bamboo crafts have developed over thousands of years catering to the environmental needs and livelihood of people. With social and cultural shifts, bamboo crafts have extended beyond the realm of practical utility. This piece is designed according to the physical attributes of the Taiwanese indigenous dog, including a pointy head (triangular), almond-shaped eyes, upright ears, blade-like tail, arched back, skinny legs and a strong and well-proportioned figure.
The name in Chinese shares the same pronunciation as “Taiwan To Go!” - encouraging the continued development of bamboo art.
