Founder of Yiwooo and contemporary artisan — Angus Ting
Angus Ting majored in Architecture and Interior Design. Upon graduation in 2010, he founded ‘thecaveworkshop’ with some friends. The design team explores culture and the environment. In the process of creation, they gained an understanding of wood and bamboo crafts. He founded bamboo craft brand Yiwooo in 2018. The name, meaning ‘twice’ in Chinese, is inspired by how bamboo strips have to be woven across at least twice for a sturdy structure. The brand strives to bring bamboo crafts back to our city life.
