Yuet Tung China Works opened its doors in 1928, and was the first large-scale hand-painted porcelain factory in Hong Kong. The factory has been running for 88 years, and is currently managed by the third generation descendent Joseph Tso.
Yuet Tung China Works is one of the few remaining hand-painted porcelain factories in Hong Kong. There are only a handful number of old master craftsmen who continue to painstakingly hand-paint patterns on white porcelain to create tableware and adornments with distinguishing features for Western family crests, hotels, company and institution logos.
